Tiger To ‘Bite Back’ In The Ryder Cup?

With the last 18 months behind him, Tiger Woods will be looking to redeem his ‘legendary’ golfing status when he enters the spotlight again in this year’s 2010 Ryder Cup. He was chosen by Captain Corey Pavin as one of the teams four ‘wildcards’.

The EU team may not be too fazed by this decision to include him in the US team as his Ryder Cup record is not even in the same league as his tournament record as he has only won an 11 of a possible 25 points. He is always seen as a threat and should be taken very seriously, but some of the young and upcoming stars that are in the EU team won’t be fazed by the golfing ‘gods’ presence.

So you could say he’s gotten lucky getting this chance to shine for his country, but whether he will ‘grab the bull by the horns’ or not remains to be seen, but one thing is for certain, expect the EU team to greet him with the utmost respect and not to take him for a fool, as he will be looking to the Ryder Cup for some sort of salvation from the public. One thing’s for certain he won’t be taking his wife or children on a golfing holiday to one of his golfing villas any time soon...
